Turtle Travels

Adventure Awaits! Turtle Travels is open now at the Catawba Science Center! Turtle Travels showcases the incredible journey undertaken by turtles. Learn about migration patterns by playing Turtle Migration in a giant board game. Discover nesting habitats, and design a turtle-friendly housing development and see how shell shapes suit different lifestyles and habitats. Find out how you can join conservation efforts related to these fascinating creatures throughout this exhibit. Be sure to make an additional stop at the Aquarium building to see our resident turtles and tortoises.

Ever wonder what lurks beneath the surface? Join us as we dive into creatures that live in the deep sea on Saturday, July 26th from 10 AM – 12 PM, in the Naturalist Center. Free event with the purchase of admission.
